Family Visa Application Fees Will Increase on April 9th, 2025
The Home Office will implement increased fees for family-related visa applications from 9 April 2025. This change will affect all applications submitted from that date onwards.
The Following Fees will change across all Family Visa Categories
Applications from Outside the UK:
- Spouse or Partner Visa (Partner and Fiancé/e /é Entry Clearance): Fees will rise from £1,938 to £1,938.
- Child Dependant Visa: For children joining their parents in the UK, fees will increase from £1,938 to £1,938.
Applications from Within the UK:
- Spouse or Partner – In-Country Extension: Fees will increase from £1,321 to £1,321.
- Parent of a Child Visa: For parents extending their stay with a child in the UK, fees will rise from £1,321 to £1,321.
- Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – Spouse or Partner: Fees will increase from £2,885 to £3,029.
How to Avoid the Fee Increase
To avoid the increased fees, ensure your application is submitted and paid for by 8 April 2025.
